Responsibilities:

• The Senior developer will participate in the design, specification, development, and testing of applications
• He will be responsible for the configuration and the customization of a Web 2.0/Ajax based application using javascript/JSON and VB.NET technologies. The underlying architecture is a sophisticated platform comprising a powerful .NET framework, based on industry-standard Microsoft.NET technology.
• Create and modify Views in the datamodel. Create and modify the datamart architecture (scripting).
• Prepare supporting documentation as needed, including but not limited to Technical Specifications, Unit and Systems Test plans, UML diagrams
• Collaborate, assist and advise the local developers in the design and implementation of the application. Provide technical guidance and support to other project members and collaborate with the other areas of our client
• Supervise/participate in analysis and report development working with a datamart

Requirements:

• Solid experience, 5 years minimum, in VB.NET, Javascript/JSON programming
• Strong Knowledge of SAS, Databases (SQL/Oracle), MS Office, WEB environments, AJAX and .NET architecture
• Good organizational skills, ability to work quickly, and accurately
• Strong analytical, design, communication, testing and documenting skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to teach/share knowledge/lead developers
• Excellent knowledge of English

 

Other preferred Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of banking and/or TA & Custody businesses
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Agile development methodology a plus
• Business analysis, data mapping, report design a plus
